A New Beginning

Finally building something for myself, after years of building for others

In Bulgaria, there’s a saying: “The shoemaker walks barefoot”. It means that people often neglect their own needs while focusing on their work for others. That’s been true for me for a long time.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects—some turned out great, others not so much. But each one taught me something valuable. I’ve had the chance to work across different fields, from finance and healthcare to education and entertainment. It’s been a mix of challenges, learning, and growth.

I’m not really the kind of person who puts themselves out there a lot. I’ve always been more focused on the work itself than on talking about it publicly. But after all this time, I realized it’s nice to have a corner of the internet that feels like my own. That’s why I finally created this website and blog—something beyond just a LinkedIn profile. A space where I can share my projects, thoughts, and a bit of my journey.

Even though I’ve never written a blog post before, I’ve read tons—on Medium, HackerNoon, and many others. Reading other people’s experiences has helped me a lot over the years. So even if I don’t post often, every now and then I might drop something here—an idea, a lesson learned, or just something I felt like sharing.

No promises on how frequent it’ll be, but if you’re here, thanks for stopping by.
